Delete your account

Applies to the Yeara app (Google Play: co.yeara.app, App Store: Yeara) by Pingvite AG and Hoessly Labs.

In the app

The fastest way, and you don't need anyone for it:

1. Open Yeara
2. Tap Settings at the bottom
3. Open Account
4. Tap Delete account and confirm

Your account is then gone and you land back on the welcome screen. There is no waiting period and no recycle bin.

Without access to the app

Lost your phone, already deleted the app, or locked out for any other reason: write to hello@yeara.co from the e-mail address you signed up with. We delete your account within 30 days and confirm it to you.

What gets deleted

Immediately and for good, with no copy kept:

• your account and your e-mail address
• your modes and their names
• your lock sessions: start, end, duration
• your emergency unlock counter
• the link between your account and your egg

We never had the apps you lock. That selection stays on your phone and disappears as soon as you uninstall Yeara. We see neither your apps nor your usage.

What stays

• Your egg's serial number stays in our device registry, but with no link to you whatsoever. It is the only way the same egg can later be paired with an account again.
• Orders and invoices are kept for as long as the law requires — usually ten years under Swiss accounting law. That is independent of your app account.
